INTRODUCING MYSELF

Hello there! My name is Pau Ripoll, and this year I will be taking 1st BAT in Castelló d'Empúries, a small but welcoming village located in the Alt Empordà. I'm a funny guy who sometimes has a devil-may-care attitude but actually got everything under control (or that's what I try ), I also try to make as many friends as possible but that does not always happen. I'm doing BAT studies because I want to move to Girona with my cousins to study computer engineering, it is one of the things that interest me the most. I like to spend my time on Internet because I feel free : I can talk and play video games with people around the world and that's probably the thing I enjoy the most in my ordinary life. I actually play League of Legends every weekend with Elay and Nitai. Both are from Israel, I met them this summer and they're who I'm go to talk with when I got a problem with my friends or parents and nobody can help me. When I'm in Internet I also love watching on-line streamings and I'ts nice because the most of them are in English and I learn a lot ... 

As any other student I can't spend all the day long in this digital world, so I usually do things at the outside too, this summer for example I have been in an important handball tournament called Granollers Cup, and I stayed in a lonely mountain retreat for a week, without wi-fi nor computers... Maybe you are asking to yourselves "And how did you survive?", I'll answer you : there was a beautiful piano. It is my favorite instrument, I love listening to people playing it but I like even more play it by myself. I started learning music when I was ten years old but I hated going to classes, the teachers didn't let us play anything and they were very strict ... So I left before ending the course, but when I met my step brother Albert in 2013, I started feeling disappointed with myself... He was able to play like four different instruments only being one year older than me. After making that comparative I challenged him to have a piano duel in a future, but sometimes I'm very lazy and I prefer playing videogames instead of practicing piano songs so I didn't get serious with music until two years ago. Since then I've changed my faint mentality to a concentrated and passionate one. Nowadays I'm proud to say I'm a self-taught pianist who practices at least one or two hours per day with hundreds of errors which are decreasing day by day. 

The funny thing of this is that this thought is not just for the piano, recently I've been taking everything seriously because if something I learned in my childhood is that if you want something, you'll need to fight for it, and this fight is not versus other people, its against yourself, to know who you really are, and how far you could go when mark an objective. And I'm continually attempting to reach thousands of objectives everyday, which is very satisfactory to me and that's what makes me happy, have a goal to fight for.
