UNFAIRNESS IN THE VIDEOGAMES SECTOR

Hello everyone, as you read from the title, today I'm here to talk about how unfair is the videogames sector. First of all I'm gonna talk about the difficulty of videogames to introduce you into this topic. Nowadays most of people tag a game as "difficult" and quit it if they can't beat their levels in more or less 15 attempts, that's because today, games corporations are trying to convince everyone that hard videogames aren't worth playing. It looks a pretty stupid idea without sense, but this lack of competence has decreased the required skill to play some of the greatest games of the history of videogames decreasing too all the content that they could offer. Some think that shouldn't be a problem at all: if the game is easier, everyone can play it and it can become more popular! That's the most famous companies's point of view... They are constantly looking on how to grow their public, but not on how to satisfy it. What does give more money to this corporations, a guy who bought a game and played it more than a thousand hours because he loved it, or a thousand of persons that bought a new game expecting a lot of entertainment and played it just for five minutes because it was horrible or short or difficult enough to suppose a challenge?  Unfortunately, the answer is really obvious ...

Do you remember the arcade machines? Some say that were a waste of money: you had to pay for every single game and if you loosed the only option to continue playing was inserting one more coin. But I think not. That was exiting, when everyone tried to beat all the levels at the fist attempt in order to write his name on the leadboard with the maximum amount of points aside. Everybody tried his best to surprise his friends and all the spectators around. What happened with that? Backwards the machine was interested in you to keep introducing money to have a good time, to keep you there challenging all his levels, but now, once you have paid it's like the machine doesn't want you anymore. In this case the machine are the most of videogames companies. Instead of focusing on how to create an interesting game with a good mechanics, or a catching story with mysteries to solve they are more concentrated in developing really impressive trailers to seduce the possible buyers. I'll show you some examples bellow:

Tell me, what the hell is this? This is supposed to be the same game! Well this is not a good example actually because is the most famous RPG game ever, but you can see the difference between what they try to sell you and what you get after buying... Anyway, there are really bad games that aren't worth to buy with high graphic content made exclusively to bait you. Back to the difficulty, the topic that worries me the most, I'm really disappointed with the latest games coming to the market. Every time I buy a new game I'm able to complete it in less than a week, and there's two explanations for that, the first one is that I'm so good (maybe it's true but the second one is more credible) and the second one, that actual games are not developed to suppose a challenge (this complements perfectly the situation I've described before). Because of that, I suggest all the unhappy game players to support indie games! They are made from players to players, and maybe haven't the same "quality" than the ones that are developed by great companies, but, you can be sure that all of them  have been created just to satisfy the ones that look for specific facts in games: ones are based on difficulty, others in a great story, some are puzzles... This is all i had to say, now I lend you a clip of one of my favorite games called Touhou that is also one of the most difficult I ever played.
